Audra and I had a nice dinner at the hospital tonight. The hospital treated us to steak and grilled chicken with sparkling cider and cheesecake. It was nice and relaxing.
Audra and Layla get to come home tomorrow. Beth is working the afternoon for me (thanks Beth) so I can go and pick them up. If the hospital is running on time we should get to leave around 1:00 pm. It’s getting late…I’ll put some more pictures on tomorrow…later.

Maggie and I just got up. We gave Audra and Layla a call, they’re both doing fine. Audra has the same night nurses as last time so she is very comfortable. Overall, she says she feels much better than last time. Layla fed a few times over night so she is now on her regular feeding cycle.

Layla Jae was born on March 28th at 1:09 pm. She is 8 lbs. 2 oz. and healthy. Mom is doing well. Here is a picture. I’ll put some more up in a little bit. She is actually laying down with her head towards me in this pic. I flipped it around so it looks funny.

Audra and I just went to the hospital to check in and get all her lab work done. We will arrive at the hospital at 10:00 am tomorrow and the C-Section is scheduled for noon. Layla Jae is almost here. Keep us in your thoughts.

Maggie has been working hard to try and get the house ready for Layla.
Well only 3 days left- I can’t believe how quickly it has gone. It seems so different this time, knowing that we are having a girl and exactly when she will be born. I miss the surprise, but am excited to see and hold her. Maggie and I had some pictures done last month you can see them at www.capturedbycarrie.com, she is an amazing photographer, if you go to client proofing, and the password is audra. You can see how FAT I am, HAHA. We still have a few things to get done before going to the hospital, hopefully we will not have to go early. We shall see!!
It’s 9:07 am and we’re getting ready to take Maggie to gymnastics at Gyminny Kids. After the baby is born we’ll take the camera to class and get some new gymnastics pics.
